Partnerships with Chinese e-retailers helped drive 21% growth in Latvian Post’s total revenue in 2017, with parcels revenue increasing almost 400% year on year.

China accounted for more than a fifth of the operator’s revenue for 2017, up from 6% in the prior year. Latvian Post is partnered with Alibaba, among other e-retailers, to provide transit service from China to Europe. However, the operator’s domestic revenue fell, with declining demand for financial and express services reported for 2017.
